The Tene Omarim Children's Park
Why do we NEED a park?
Studies show that play and open spaces have direct influence on physical and emotional aspects of children as well as adults-in Tene the need is particularly acute.
-
We are constantly in the shadow of Islamic terror as both Har Hevron residents as well as resident of the south (during the recent Tzuk Eitan operation we had to evacaute a Bat-Mitzvah).
-
Research indicates that when children have experienced a traumatic event, the need to play out the experience is a crucial factor of the healing process.
-
Furthermore, we are located in a remote area and so our kids need to have an area to play in within Tene.
-
As a community of religious and non religious families, we do not have a central meeting area. A park were families of all ages could enjoy would strengthen the fabric of our community.
Please join us in developing the Negev, healing the wounds of terrorism and creating a harmonious community right in the heartland of the Jewish Home.
